Titan Skins originated as an idea for a birthday present for my brother, who was a 'gamer' and was fond of mythology. This then became the foundation for one of my essential final year projects, as part of my BA Hons graphic design course.
When I discovered that the initial concept was limited in terms of what was available, I saw an opportunity or 'a gap in the market', which originally was the title of the project was. I began researching existing product design's which covered more than just the aesthetic, I also looked into the materials and how it would best suit the consumer.
I designed and developed a concept for a proto-type controller skin, that would be mass-produced using a silicone-mold which featured a mythic creature, that would be part of a collection.
